Russel Hartwig's Standpoint in Life

Russel Hartwig's Standpoint in Life

My stand on things of another nature: I do not believe in Aliens, trans-dimensional beings, and "truth" theories AKA Conspiracy theories; even if they have some validity. I don't give or accept bashing on any religions. Just so it's out there in the open, I have a religion and I stick to it. I believe in Mormonism from LDS.Org I only believe in current and official LDS (Latter Day Saint or Mormon) documents.

I am a true believer in Christ I do what He wants, and when he wants it done. I do this because I love Him. If I didn't love him, or if Christ didn't love Me, I wouldn't believe in him. If I didn't feel His comfort in my heart, and in my mind, I would know that it wasn't Christ I was feeling. Remember that everything good comes from Christ. If it's not good (bickering about which doctrine is right) than I know that it's not from Him. Because I know these feelings are coming from Christ, I trust in him, and He trusts in me to do as he did (on this earth) and obey the feelings of righteousness that come to me constantly.

I believe in the freedom to choose. If someone does something bad or doesn't follow the ten commandments, and the two greatest commandments, that person has the right to act how they will. It depletes their ability to become Sons and Daughters of God until they change their ways, like an airplane making constant corrections in direction. The airplane must do this to combat the winds that are pushing it in separate directions. Moving away from the destination, is dangerous. You won't find a landing pad at the end of your journey if you aren't following the ten commandments and the two greatest commandments - AKA Matthew 22:37-40, "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the a law and the prophets."

I believe, as well as the doctrine in the Mormon church believes, that the joys of having an eternal family far outweigh the fears of not having one. At least, a fear of not being with my wife forever, does not motivate me to have and keep my worthiness, but the knowledge, and joy, of thinking about being with her forever, motivates me a ton, to follow the commandments.
