St. Patricks Day and the day before by – D. Russel Hartwig

St. Patricks Day and the day before by – D. Russel Hartwig

Tonight we had boiled cabbage and potato soup with ham bits. That was good!!! We put the corn beef in the crock pot, and it should be done in a couple of hours. I slept in until 2pm today. I needed it! Two days prior, I stayed awake for a day, a night, and a day. That was CRAZY! So we got a late start on dinner.

The day before my wife and I went to Dunkin Donuts and had sandwiches. We stayed there for a while and did some interneting. We then went to Tempe Marketplace and ate at California Pizza Kitchen. I had the Chile Relleno. My wife had the Shrimp Scampi with Zucchini. We watched a movie at the Harkins Theater called, "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" starring: Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Alan Arkin, and James Gandofini. The movie is about a magician who makes it big. His partner and him have a falling out and lose their contract with the owner of their stage in Vegas. Burt gets some good advice from his childhood hero and magician then comes back to the stage. He fails until Burt and his partner, and friend, get back together and WOW the crowds with their new trick! It doesn’t have much of a plot, but it is funny! Not meant for children though, so be careful.

After the movie we went to Barnes and Noble Bookstore. We hung out a little. I got the book, “The Joy of Juicing” by: Gary and Shelly Null. Julie got a stitching book called, "Doodle Stitching - Embroidery and Beyond." by: Aimee Ray.

We then went home on the last bus out of there. Luckily we caught it! We didn't know how late the busses ran Saturday night. We took the bus to the light rail and to our surprise, there was a group of people singing their hearts out! They sang lots of songs. According to one passenger, "They have been singing since I got on. Since Priest and Washington at least." One of my favorite songs that I heard was from Weird Al Yankovic. It was called, "Eat It." A parody of "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. This is very kid appropriate:

Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was
extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I had written and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for newbie blog writers? I'd definitely appreciate it.

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this blog. It's simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it's very hard to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and appearance. I must say that you've done a awesome
job with this. Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Chrome.
Superb Blog!
