This is the best combined flight intelligence that I have seen since forever! They are called nano-quadrotors. The robot invasion is COMING!!! NOT!!! lol! But, no, really. These are pretty cool, and I wouldn't be surprised if these quadrotors made their way to afghanistan. They would be mounted with cameras to seek out intel for the soldiers. These could look around corners, fly high and survey, find the man with the bomb and laser tag him to be stopped dead in his tracks. Pretty awesome demonstration! :-)
I don't know if they were programed for each scenario in a set space, or if they're truly doing things from some sort of radar, laser guidance... etc? Of course a lot of programming is necessary for these awesome flight patterns!
It would be cool if they could vary in the amount of space that they put between each other, based on what space they have to move in. If they were in a smaller room or a lower ceiling. Things like that.
