NASA, popcorn balls and a movie

NASA is looking for dark energy along side the Europeans. Dark energy is very similar to, what could be coined as light energy. It has dark electrons, dark protons and neutrons. The only difference is that when combined with light energy, both energies or masses dissipate. It follows the same phenomenon as two sound waves of the same frequency colliding. The sound waves cancel each other out and no more sound is heard.

The only problem is that, mathematically, all energies should have canceled each other out, if we are to follow Newtons law. One of his laws states that to every action there is an equal or opposite reaction.

We just made marshmallow popcorn balls. We made them by popping the popcorn using an air popper, melted six table spoons of butter in the microwave while, at the same time heating up a skillet on the stove. We poured the melted butter onto the skillet and made sure that it was hot (on the medium setting for the burner). We then put a whole bag of marshmallows into the pan with the butter, mixed it until the whole thing was a white creamy paste, then poured the melted marshmallow liquid on top of the popcorn slowly while mixing it into the bowl. We put it into the refrigerator for ten minutes then enjoyed a sweet treat!

SOOOooo Good!!!

While eating these sweet treats we watched the movie "Chocolat" it has a few famous actors in it like Carrie-Anne Moss and Alfred Molina. It is a story of a chocolate shop being opened in a small town that practices the Catholic faith. The shop was opened during the first week of lint. Lint is a practice of sacrificing your indulgences (like having chocolate) for five weeks prior to Easter. As you could probably guess, the mayor of the town wasn't too pleased with her Chocolate shop. I'll leave the rest of the movie for you to watch for yourself. :-)
